Kiss Nails are a quick and easy method to give your nails a new look in an instant. If you have smaller children, on the other hand, you’ll discover that they’re not practical to wear all of the time, which is a shame. There are just too many hands-on activities that you must engage in with your children. However, for those who simply wish to wear their nails for the necessary seven days before changing them, Kiss Nails may be a more suitable option than acrylic nails. Read about my experience with Kiss Press-On Nails for a week in this article.

The Advantages and Disadvantages of Press-On Nails

In less than 15 minutes, you can have salon-quality nails.

Simple to put into practice

There are 28 nails in total, so you may find the perfect match for your fingernail size.

Several different styles are available.

Cons

It is only permitted to be worn for seven days.

Natural nail lifting may occur as a result of nails that are popped off while being used.

Lifting your natural nail might cause it to become brittle.

We, particularly parents, are notorious for ruining our fingernails. We’re always on the go, whether it’s pushing kids on the swings or carrying a stroller in and out of the vehicle, or playing ball in the backyard. Those short, damaged nails may be transformed into beautifully polished fingers in a matter of minutes with Kiss Nails. For special events, I’ve utilized Kiss Nails on various occasions throughout the course of the years. When it came to testing the nails for this review, I wore the “Kiss Nails Real Short Everlasting French Square Nails Kit” for the seven days recommended on the packaging, putting them through the rigors of usual day-to-day activities as a mother.

What to Expect When Using Kiss Press-On Nail Polish

It costs $8 and comes with 24 nails, sticky tabs, pink gel glue, a manicure tool, and a little nail file. Needless to say, the cost is far less than the $30 or more you’ll spend to get your nails done at a salon, and it’s something you can easily do for yourself at home, especially if you have children in the house. You will also save money since you will no longer be required to visit the salon every six weeks to have your nails replaced, which can cost up to $45. That isn’t really a choice for parents who are trying to save their funds.

Kiss Nails

Kiss Nails are no exception to this rule since they are quite easy to apply. When you’re ready to attach the artificial nail in place, apply glue to both the rear of the fake nail and the back of your natural nail. You must ensure that you thoroughly cover each area with adhesive, or otherwise, you will be able to detect air pockets through the nails once they have been attached. Five seconds of holding the fake nail on top of your natural nail will bond them together. Remove the fake nail’s numbered tab by twisting it off and filing the nail to the form you want it to be. The overall time it takes to choose your nail size, apply adhesive, and then glue the nails in place for both hands is around 10-15 minutes in total.

My daily routine is quite straightforward. Several nails did, however, come loose throughout the course of the week:

Day1: There were no popped nails.

Day2 – During a diaper change, the ring fingernail on my left hand came off completely.

Day3 – While doing the clothes, the middle fingernail on my left hand came loose and fell off.

Day4 – My pinkie nail came off when I was removing ice from the ice machine.

Day5 – No nails have come loose.

My middle fingernail on my right hand came loose when I was strapping my baby’s car seat on Day 6.

Day 7 – My left index fingernail came loose when I was at Target, where I had just purchased another pair of Kiss Nails.

The nails that had popped off were glued back on in a matter of seconds, with the exception of the one that got misplaced in the Target shuffle. It’s a good idea to have the glue with you at all times in case your nail pops off while you’re away from home. It didn’t hurt when each of my nails burst off, but I was aware that I had lost one of my nails. It was only after I had removed the false nails that I saw that the nails that had popped off my finger throughout the previous week had suffered small lifting on them, as though the power with which they were popped off my finger had also lifted the top layer of my natural nail with them. Unfortunately, the lifting of my natural nail could be seen on the surface of the nail. Because the top layer of the nail has been removed, those ordinarily strong nails have become much weaker.

Advice

It is advised that you use the Kiss Nails “All or One Artificial Nail Remover” (which can be bought separately from their kits) to remove your nails. You may also just dip your fingernails into acetone nail polish remover, but this will take longer and result in more damage to your nails. After experimenting with both procedures, it was discovered that the All or One Artificial Nail Remover was more effective in removing the artificial nail as well as the adhesive that was left on your natural nail.

The Final Point to Remember

Despite a few small drawbacks, there are several benefits to utilizing these nails: They are only there for a short time. They are simple to remove. They are reasonably priced. They’re just stunning. Not only can using press-ons improve the appearance of your nails, but it also gives you a boost in confidence. Throughout the week, I noticed that I was spending a lot of time staring at my hands.

Kiss Nails are an excellent product that has completely transformed the concept of press-on nails. Even yet, most individuals who work with their hands on a regular basis will discover that they are not ideal when they are spending time with their children on a daily basis. While not a permanent solution, they are an excellent choice for a date night or other special occasions when you want to give your nails a quick and much-needed manicure.
